  EARTHQUAKE IN BLACKPOOL, UK

  in the paper today, it discusses this earthquake in blackpool.

  it was 2.2.........not huge but!.....all the jws are jumping around and clapping..."its coming......its coming.....armageddon is coming"........ im so happy for them.. paula x.

  if you just want the juicy details where i leave, i'll make disclaimer where it begins, if you just want to know what happened with the elders and organization after i realized it wasn't true, i'll mark that seperately.

  we didn't do jack shit in service, or in the congregation.

  maybe this was how jehovah came about?

  Im having my first taste of black pudding again (blood sausage) this Saturday morning when a friend visits for a huge full English breakfast.....

  so i went out dancing again and as i usually do i like to talk to people at the end, this time i started chatting with a couple of girls.

  while having a conversation with one of them the issue of toasting came up.

  i told her i had no idea how was exactly done, since still i am not that familiar with the whole whishing thing.

  just wanted to drop in and share the good news that i have been accepted to "the big city university" this fall.

  sorry i haven't been around much lately, this is a busy semester as i'm just getting on with a really exciting life.. wow, has my life changed as i look back over the years!

  and jwd/jwn has been an important part of the positive direction that my life is now headed.. my previous thread and history are in the private section for members.

  JWs want the medical community to RESPECT their beliefs

  how can jehovah's witnesses demand respect from the medical community as regards to their refusal to take blood tranfusions?

  how could i ask my doctor, or anyone for that matter, to engage in my suicide?

  how can a witness ask a doctor, or anyone, to take their child's life?.

  Ive worked in nursing. I feel so sorry for any doctor who has to come up against this ridiculous docturine, and fight to save the life of a child, when the parents seem happy to let them die. Disgusts me to the core. Christian love? BS.......

  Just before I severed the ties with the JWs, they were banging on about how lots of "worldy" doctors now realise their teachings on blood are much safer, and are adopting it...what a load of crap that is! Adopting a JW docturine...sounds so good for the organisation doesnt it. Idiots. Where the heck do they get that ridiculous stat from?

  This has given me a headache.
